Position Overview:
Strong closer and relationship builder responsible for selling Osorb and Osorb-based products, either directly or through Channel Partners and Agents. Strong focus on Surface Water run-off, and Groundwater Remediation markets and applications engaging with Engineering firms and other Channel Partners to close end customer sales

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Develop thorough understanding of the strengths and limitations of Osorb technology
Identify and contact potential customers for Osorb and existing Osorb-based products.
Work with potential customers to understand their problems and determine if Osorb-based products may solve them.  Thoroughly define the situation.
Hand off development opportunities (situations where ABSMaterials does not have an existing product, but an Osorb-based product may solve a widespread problem) to the Business Development Manager.
Create Proposals using existing templates, cost calculators and price lists.  Enlist assistance from Engineering and other personnel to adapt general products to specific situations.
Maintain the Quote Log that lists active and past Proposals.
Maintain a rolling Sales forecast that clearly shows customers, products, value, timing and strength of each opportunity.
Follow up Proposals to get feedback and close sales (receive Purchase Orders).
Identify and engage Agents and representatives to sell Osorb-based products.  Lead completion of Agent commercial agreements using an existing template. 
Train Agent personnel on ABSMaterials products, marketing materials and how to filter potential opportunities.

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer
Direct reports:  Inside Sales with multiple agents and channel partner relationships to build and manage

Qualifications & Skills: 
A Bachelor degree in Business related field of study and/or technical degree in Science or Engineering
Five years or more in an independent, self-managed Sales position selling technical products
Demonstrated ability and track record of closing sales and growing revenue streams in a technical market
Excellent, demonstrated communications abilities, including in-person, phone/video and written
Effective time management skills
Experience developing project and action plans and getting them completed with successful results
Demonstrated ability to understand difficult technical information and translate it so the information is relevant and useful to the audience being addressed
Presentation skills: An ability to present to large groups, small groups with people of widely varying experience, skills and interests
Computer skills (email, video, presentations, spreadsheets, etc)
Facilitation skills: An ability to form teams and direct people with diverse experience and skills
Demonstrated ability to create training materials and deliver effective training programs
Detail-oriented and conscientious
A strong interest to learn and improve

Master degree in Business Administration (in addition to the Bachelor degree above)
Experience with water treatment or water handling systems or systems handling other fluids
A basic understanding of organic chemistry

Travel will be required regularly - possibly 50% of the time or more
